How Hyper-Visuals 10x'ed Ali Abdaal's Twitter Engagement

THE CLIENT
Ali Abdaal is one of the world's biggest YouTube creators — 6M+ subscribers, an educator and productivity influencer whose work reaches millions across platforms.
THE CHALLENGE
Ali posted a 23-lesson thread on succeeding on YouTube. It performed well — 941 likes and 652 retweets — but the format worked against the ideas inside it.
- Long threads require sustained attention — most readers drop off before the end.
- Threads are difficult to revisit; the insights get buried as the feed moves on.
- Low mobile shareability — a 23-tweet thread doesn't travel at a glance.
THE SOLUTION
We created a single-page Hyper-Visual — “15+ Lessons to Succeed on YouTube in 2022” — that combined 15+ insights into one reference asset.
It used a two-column Z-reading layout, paired each lesson with an icon for instant comprehension, and was optimised for mobile saves and shares. Ali tweeted it and featured it in his YouTube video.
THE RESULTS
The numbers on Twitter.
Beyond Twitter.
The visual was featured in Ali's YouTube video, extending its reach far beyond Twitter. New followers discovered Sachin Ramje through Ali's thank-you tweet.
The Hyper-Visual continues to circulate as a bite-sized playbook — a reference his audience returns to long after the original thread scrolled past.
WHY IT WORKED
Four reasons it travelled.
Condensation of complexity
23 lessons absorbed in a single glance instead of a 23-tweet scroll.
Shareability psychology
A clean visual is far more likely to be retweeted than a dense thread.
Save-ability
People bookmark a reference they can come back to — and keep coming back.
Cross-platform leverage
One asset that travels from Twitter to YouTube and a 6M+ audience.
IMPACT IN NUMBERS
The impact, at a glance.
“Thank you so much @SachinRamje for creating this amazing visual.”
KEY TAKEAWAY
Hyper-Visuals don't just present information — they amplify it. By transforming Ali's Twitter thread into a Hyper-Visual, we unlocked 10x reach and engagement, expanded cross-platform distribution, and created a long-term reference asset for his audience.
